HANDLER - ...a person who trains and manages a dog in a show or contest.....
If a handler is a person who trains and manages a dog in a show or contest then I will consider myself a handler.
In 2007 I started handling dogs in the UK. It all began when I bought my first Alaskan Malamute Kaskae and since then it has become one of my finest dedications.
Even though my life has always been surrounded by dogs I never thought of showing dogs...Back home the dogs I had were for hunting.
Since Kaskae came into my life I started seeing dogs in a different perspective and decided to have a go at dog showing....Never looked back.
In these years I have improved my handling. I managed to get BIS,RBIS,RBISS,BOB,CC,RCCand have qualified a few dogs for Crufts. I handled in the UK, Italy, Holland, Belguim and Malta. For me handling dogs is a passion and I strongly believe that good handling strenghtens the chances of success.
Througout these years I have shown Alaskan Malamutes, British Bulldogs, Beagles, Japanese Akita Inu and other breeds. Just would like to say a big thank you to all the owners and breeders who have trusted me with their dogs...It has been an honour.
